PRIME DIRECT & ESSENTIAL DIRECT MERGER
PDD & EDL have now merged. As of 2nd July, 2007, PDD have taken over the physical distribution and logistics for all Essentail Direct label roster and related products. Essential will continue to manage their artists, labels and recording studios but all pressing and distribution is handled exclusively by Prime Direct. This includes imprints such as Hoxton Whores, Whorehouse, Disco Darlings, Ransom, Flaunt it DJ's, Congestion and many more.

SPEED ISSUE RESOLVED
We would like to apologize to customers who have been experience delays whilst using our web-site. This was due to the volume of traffic on the site, but we have now switched onto a larger and more powerful server; this hopefully will take care of this problem.
It will now enable you to once more place your orders online, or just browse in general- we should now be back to normal speed- HAPPY SHOPPING!

Break in Transmission
For those of you who were trying to access our website last week, you will have noticed that the site was down. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused, this was due to us migrating the site to a new host company.
They have far larger capacity to deal with the rapid growth of our website. Once we have ironed out any glitches this transfer might throw up, then we fully expect the PDD website to be an even bigger and better resource for all your House Muzik needs.

Congratulations
CONGRATULATIONS!
Prime Direct are delighted to announce that Spencer has just become the proud father of a bouncing baby boy.
Red BB Broughton arrived late on Monday 30th Jan weighing in at 6lb 8 oz.
Please join us in raising a glass to Spencer, Liz and baby Red- we wish them all well and it’s a delightful way to start 2006.

Updated Shipping News
Well, as 2005 rapidly evaporates we are preparing the final shipments of the year. You can order as normal this week, with our final shipping day set for Thursday 21st December for UK and Export. The office will then close on Friday 23rd Dec and officially re-open on Tuesday, Jan 3rd, 2006, although we can ship orders on that Friday, which you will receive on Wednesday, 28th Dec.
In addition, we will also ship all orders placed on the website before 1pm Thursday 29th December the same day, for next day delivery, just discuss this with your salesman beforehand to arrange. Stores will need to register online before they can place orders this way, but it is a very quick and simple process, which will allow you to restock product directly from the website (www.primedirectdist.co.uk) next week if need be.
This offer applies to export accounts also, but you will need to ensure that you have arranged your shipper to collect. Queries on the day can be emailed to spencer@primedirectdist.co.uk

X-MAS OPENING HOURS
The last shipping date for 2005 will be Thursday, 22nd December. The office will be open on Friday 23rd Dec for any general queries you may have.
Thereafter, we will be closed until Tuesday, 3rd January, 2006, whereupon it will be back to business as normal.
Any urgent queries can be directed to Richard on 0772 058 1123 whilst the office is closed.

PDD WEBSITE GOES LIVE
After spending many months at the research stage, we are pleased to finally unveil the long awaited PDD website. Here you can keep abreast of our new release products, as it lands daily from across the Globe.
New features will be added to the website next year, but with the launch of this online facility, we hope to simplify your shopping experience with us. Existing customers can now choose from a number of ways to place their orders, and any new store or wholesalers wishing to work with us, can download our account application in the ‘accounts’ section.
As well as daily updates, there will be regular restocks page, new and old RnB & Hip Hop titles, extensive dance classic lists as well as a sales section for a decent bargain.
We are a world wide wholesaler of dance music, so whether you are looking to buy or sell, get in touch via the contacts page.
A recent addition to our sales team is Nick ‘The Butcher’, who heads up our newly formed export department. We will be developing an exclusive roster in keeping with the Prime Direct sound, so watch developments on this side.
Similarly, labels looking for either PnD deals or distribution deals, should contact Spencer Broughton to discuss this further.
The layout of the site offers simple navigation through the pages, as well as a safe and easy to use shopping cart to place your orders. Ordering online will be the most effective way to buy your product, but we will of course be on the other end of the phone for those preferring the human touch. Either way, the site should make buying records even easier than before.
